Steem-cartoon : Haydn Girls in Whitworth Park, featuring Malay Traditional Garments. [photography & painting timelapse]
A fine summer's day, Manchester 2016, the time where we have just completed all our project submissions and exams, the last few months before we are going to celebrate Eid away from home for one last time. Most of us have already prepared our special garments for the celebration. It was also one of those precious day where the Sun decided to pay a visit, i thought its such a waste to not to embrace the opportunity for a photography session. A quick call excites these girls, my group of my close friends who live in the Haydn Street, 2 junctions away from my house in Moss Lane East, facing the glorious Whitworth Park which were then covered with fresh greens and little yellow flowers.
These colourful garments are some varieties of Malay traditional garments which actually have been modernize to suit the current taste and trends. Malay ladies usually wear these clothes for special occasion such Eid or weddings. These garments are considered not too lavish and are also suitable to be wear as casual wear. I am not an expert in all these fashion and trends but i simply love all these garments compliment this vibrant setting of the park.
All these photos was shot with my Alpha A700 DSLR with Carl Zeiss 135mm F1.4 lens.
...so i decided to do a quick digital painting on my Lenovo Yoga Book and Brushes Apps!
...voila! :D
Thank you Nadiah, Nabilah, Miza, Najlaa, Hani and Syakirah for being my impromptu model! :)
Photography is also another big part of my multi-enthusiast soul that resonates equally with sketching and music. It has been the part of me that contributes towards having the eye for beauty of composition for most of my artworks. :)
Sempoii bro.
