DNA was the first, original Blockchain...
Just look at that... doesn't it remind you of "Blockchain"
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a [thread-like chain] [blockchain] of nucleotides carrying the genetic instructions [data] used in the growth, development, functioning and reproduction of all known living organisms [economy]...
Which is which? Is Blockchain a form of DNA or is DNA a form of Blockchain?
Chicken or the Egg?
DNA is used by researchers as a molecular tool to explore physical laws and theories, it would not surprise me at all if the final-form of #Blockchain technology winds up working visually similar to the way DNA does...
The two strands of DNA contain the same information, but run opposite directions, this leads me to believe there will be two successful cryptocurrencies; with totally different goals and uses *wink wink*
Those two strands of DNA are not held together physically, but rather chemically though a molecular bond where electron pairs are shared between atoms (does this not remind you of Atomic Swaps?)

Whoever started this whole Blockchain movement was CLEARLY inspired by biology, and if they weren't; than surely this is a happy accident providing a road-map to proper Blockchain Industry development?
Just think about it, go freshen up on DNA, I have a feeling you'll see the similarities as well...
Throw me some Bitcoin if I just changed the world: 1DJzjeXt76Cr37NGV7deSf5h7tXaCTASNG ($BTC)

the only difference in dna and blockchain is that dna can be cloned... and i think blockchain can't.... bio was my favorite in college... i really feel many things mimic Mother Nature's perfect constructs... thanks for the article...
