On Demons and The Spiritual Part 1 - Introduction
In My Story I describe my experiences with a demon and how it harassed me for a little over a year. After the night of prayer I had, that demon never haunted me again. Instead, I started learning more and more about spiritual matters. Here is some of the things I have learned since then.
The Spiritual Realm
I tend to call it the "Spiritual Realm" because I don't really know what else to call it. To me the word "realm" makes it sound all mysterious, captivating and magical. From my experience it's not. Instead think of it as another dimension, somewhat like a blueprint if you will. I've seen blueprints that have multiple layers of clear plastic sheets that have drawings on them. Put together, it gives the full picture of the building. When separated it only shows the parts intended. This is what God has created for us. Most humans see the blueprint with a few of the layers or... "dimensions". Most humans can see/feel 3 dimensions. But to some believers God has given the gift of discernment and can feel another layer of this blueprint which I call the Spiritual Realm.
The Spiritual Realm is a very dark place. Filled with demons and evil things in general. Unfortunately that makes sense though. Demons live here, they come to search and destroy and they are never resting. They are masters of deceiving, and I feel it is especially easy for them because we can't see them unless God opens our eyes to them. I've seen them twice in my life, I've felt them a whole lot more.
Unfortunately I don't have much information on angels themselves and how they affect our lives. I know that they are assigned to protect at times, but honestly I feel I have a much better grasp on how demons work than angels.
Demons themselves are basically a personality. They have a name and that name embodies their personality. There is fear, lust, and literally a whole assortment of other negative names that demons and how they can affect others. When we are dealing with a persistent issue of fear, lust, anxiety, or more... more often than not, that is a demon harassing us. I believe even more firmly that things that happen in our lives are very very rarely coincidence and that there is a reason for everything. Whether its a demonic attack, God trying to teach us a lesson, or more, I'm not even sure if coincidence is a concept God identifies with.

Honestly there is so much on this topic, I could go on forever. That is why I have decided while writing this post to continue this, and I will probably start a series concerning demons and deliverance. Mind you, I am not called to deliverance myself, however because I was given this spiritual gift I have understanding about how spiritual matters work.
