The Old Dog Says: Give Me A Hug But Don't Kill Me! Tree Tuesday
As you may know I love taking pictures of big trees, weird trees, bark and burls!
The other day while walking through the forest near my home I was struck by the number of trees that seemed to be getting a hug!
This Hug "Looks" Innocent Enough
At first glance there appears to be nothing to worry about for the big fella on the left
Look how cute. The little tree seems to be hugging its big brother. But wait!
What Starts As A Nice Hug Turns Into A Horror Show!
Hmmm, this hug seems to be a little too long, a little too aggressive and frankly, dangerous!
Was I Witnessing a Murder? A Love Story Gone Horribly Wrong?
I'm not certain but it sure looked like it to me! Whatever the case may be it's wonderful to have the opportunity to get out into nature, examine the trees and then share what I find with you here on Steemit.

I have some friends in England that go out and literally saw the vines! They say eventually they kill the trees. I have no idea, but I always think about them when I see a murder scene like you show!
Don't give me any ideas. I'd never be able to save all the trees in our forest!
