The Old Dog Says: Dogs, Dogs Everywhere Dogs! During my recent stay in Loutraki Greece ...
... I was struck by the many dogs wandering and laying about unincumbered by leash or collar. In front of my lodgings, in front of the hotel, in front of the hospital, in front of.......everywhere. Thankfully, like the people, they were almost all friendly and relaxed!
At least these ones weren't laying in your walking path. I found it funny to say "just let that sleeping dog lay" and walk around.
I have never seen such healthy happy wild dogs and cats anywhere like Loutraki :)
It was a strange thing at first but became natural. The only time I saw them agitated was when a teenager on a skateboard went by.
Makes a change from cats. When I stayed in Cyprus the place was festooned with them!!
Lol.. so true. Cats are usually the freer of the two most popular domesticated beasts!

Greece needs to work on spaying and neutering their dog and cat populations!
They seem to fit right in. It was very strange to experience it.
When I was there it was cats and kittens everywhere. I ate in one restaurant where the waiters had cardboard tubes at hand that they could use to chase them away. Poor starving things.
Thats is something else, cool freedom for dogs, haha, we would never see that here in Canada, if your dogs not on a leash (unless its at the dog park) with a collar etc. You will be fined lol! Cool find Old Dog keep up the great work!!

They looks really relaxed 😊 I admit I love dogs and so I like to meet a friendly dog, but I know myself and maybe I could visit Cyprus and come back to home with a new furry friend 😜
