REALME 7---(3 MONTHS REVIEW)

BUILD AND DESIGN
The device has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the front display,a plastic back cover with a two tone finish,mine is the mist white and a thick camera bump that houses the quad camera setup and flash.At the left side you have the volume buttons and the triple card slots,at the right the side mounted fingerprint button that also serve as the power button too.At the bottom the headphone jack,two microphone holes,the type C port for charging and other connectivity stuffs and the speaker grills.You have nothing at the top of the device.The phone is well rounded with a plastic frame with curves at the edges

DISPLAY
The device spots a 6.5inch IPS LCD 90hz screen display with a 1080p resolution and 480nits of brightness.The display is sharp and clear,with a little bit of contrast that makes videos and pictures look very good when viewing them.
The 90hz refresh rate make scrolling,gestures and things moving in the display looks quicker and smoother than when you set it on 60hz or auto select(Toggles between 60hz - 90hz).The brightness levels are great indoors but outdoors you will have to increase it to 70% and above to view thing properly.But overall the display is great compared to other devices in it's price range.

SOFTWARE
As far as software is concerned it runs on Realme U.I v1.0 based on Android 10,which runs very smoothly on the device,the U.I is also cool and less buggy with little or no bloatware, although you get some app installed already when you launch the phone for the first time,which you can also uninstall if you don't need them.Realme also promises a software update of Realme U.I v2.0 based on Android 11 coming very soon.

MEMORY
The device has 128gb of rom and 8gb of ram,but you have lower variants with 64gb of rom and 6gb of ram coupled with UFS 2.1,which is also okay depending on the user and his/her budget constraints.
The phone has a triple card slots for 2sims and a microsd card incase u want to expand your storage capacity.

CONNECTIVITY
The Realme 7 supports 4G LTE on both sims with many LTE bands for global support.There is also Bluetooth 5.0 with (A2DP and LE),NFC,WIFI,HOTSPOT,GPS,GLONASS and BDS.But unfortunately there is no FM Radio and IR Blaster on the device,so u can't control your TV and other Smart devices like it's Redmi Counterpart,but these are no deal breakers for me.

CAMERA
My device which is the Global version spot a 48MP main rear camera,An 8MP Ultrawide Camera,A 2MP depth camera and a 2MP Macro Sensor for close up shots.Pictures taken with the main camera looks great and sharp,even when you select portrait mode,the backgrounds are blurred out completely and the subjects in view remains very sharp and well focused.The Ultrawide pictures are wide enough at 119° and gives you a wider view when you focus and snap an image.The depth camera help improves the bokeh effect and the macro lens does a decent job but not the best though.
For Selfies the 16MP front camera takes very reasonable photos and videos outdoors,but Selfies and videos with the front cam are ok indoors but not that sharp and bright enough.
Overall the rear camera supports 4k/30fps with no EIS and 1080/30/60/120fps with gyro-EIS while the front camera is capped at 720p and 1080p/30fps for video.

PERFORMANCE
The realme 7 comes with the Mediatek Helio G95 chipset which is suitable to carry out everyday mobile task with breeze and fluidity.LPDDRX4 RAM.Playing heavy games and multitasking between other activities like social media,surfing the net, transfer of files etc.. is made easier and faster with the presence of the very capable MALI-G76 MC4 GPU,8GB of LPDDRX4 RAM and the UFS 2.1 Storage.You can play CODM at highest possible setting without experiencing little or no lag.it plays GRID AutoSport well and Genshin Impact was playable @(medium setting).
Furthermore I ran ANTUTU Benchmark v8 several times to check the overall performance score overtime and I got between 292k-300k which is good enough for a Mid-range Device given it's Features and price.

BATTERY
The device is powered with a Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable battery which is able to carry you throughout the day depending on the user and the phone setting.You can get up to 7-9hrs of SOT If you set the refresh rate at 90hz and brightness at 50% on normal usage,whereas if you set the screen at 60hz you should be expecting 12-14hrs of SOT on normal usage.on Heavy usage (90hz and Mid brightness) you will get 4-6hrs of SOT,while on (60hz and mid Brightness)you will get 6-8hrs of SOT.
When it comes to charging up the device,you have a 30W DART FAST CHARGER which is capable of charging the device from (0-50)% in 26 mins and from (0-100)% in 65min when the device is switched off.But when the device is switched on it charges from 1%-100% in about (70-75)mins.

CONCLUSION
If u are looking for a Mid-range Device or an overall performer at this price point ($225~#85500 for the 128gb rom,8gb ram variant)that will give you value for your money,look no further the realme 7 has what it takes.The only downside is that it has a plastic built,mono speaker and the Ultrawide Camera is not so wide but photos taken withit still looks sharp.Also the camera was downgraded on the realme 7 global version compared to the Realme 6 Global version.
But the pros outweighs the cons and this can be seen in the specs below.
