Do dragons have "realistic" anatomy? :)
Well I based Raupon's body on a fox, but its back leg is wrongly positioned. Also the wings have to be connected somewhere to the body. And it's preferable that the body doesn't look too big/heavy for the wings, if its supposed to fly :D
But in general when creating fantastical creatures, its best to base them on real animals and use their anatomy for a guide.
