Great painting my friend. Had to upvote and resteem it. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you very much! You have an awesome day too and good luck! ^^
Amazing colourful paintings. You are surely gifted :)
Thank you :)
It's just manyyyy hours of practice.
That's the 'secret' of talent right there ;]
Great works, whathever technique a people choose, it's always good to train a "good" hand
Thank you :)
True. However, imagination and creativity are just as important, but rarely taught.
Woooow! Nice art collection!... I know how difficult is to draw with a physical model with the changing shadows, hard proportions and the speed needed sometimes... Thanks for the brave inspiration, artistic colleague! :-D
Thank you :) It's certainly useful. And recommend all artists to try.
Maybe the old ladies found it pretty boring sitting still for so long, or maybe oneof them just had the propensity for falling asleep as soon as opportunity presents itself (like some people I know XD).
Is that a cabbage on a teapot? O_o Would have made for some interesting texture variations.
Partially done things are rarely for nothing :)
Well, it was just funny a bit ^^ I'm sure it was boring and not easy with age. Plus she'd share some stories, don't remember them really. :) But it's nice that he had the job for as long as she wanted and could do it.
And yess it's a cabbage on a Russian teapot. I was fast enough to paint it alive. Some others ended up painting it rotten by the time they were done xD
I agree that partial isn't in vain. However, sometimes it takes more guts to move on :)
LoL! Yeh old people tend to have some pretty interesting stories :)
I think if I'd been in your class I would have been one of the people painting it rotten XD
These are really nice kristy <3 I really like the studies at the botanic garden! Very pretty colours.... * ___ * The old ladies ones are also very nice <3

Followed back ^^
Thank you very much! :-)))
Colorful and beautiful
Thank you! ^^
Glad to see you're sketching again :D
Ah, art school. When I was actually studying I thought all this kind of stuff was super tedious. I think I would appreciate it a lot more if I went back and did it now.
It depends really :)
I'm sure a good artschool can make big difference. But many have very specific artstyle results which I wouldn't want to learn.
I went to art restoration not art (public uni), so only 2 professors actually cared to teach useful art. Rest just put up a composition and barely gave feedback.
