DIY: Knitted Blanket
So, I’ve seen these chunky knitted blankets everywhere on Instagram and Facebook, and I’ve decided to make one of my own. I think it would look great in a living room or a bedroom, and it’s also really soft and warm.
This is the yarn I’ll be using. I bought it at Aliexpress.com using this link in the color 213. It looks exactly like the picture, and feels very soft. It’s not wool, I believe it’s a cotton blend. I ordered 2kg yarn, but I’m not sure how large my blanket will be. I might have to order a bit more. It took a few weeks before I received it, but that doesn't matter. I don’t mind waiting if I can get it much cheaper than I would here in Norway.
I hope it won’t take too long until I’m done. I’ll keep you posted! If you have any questions, or any tips (I’m not an experienced knitter), let me know in the comment section.
