Have the same feeling towards each other, without indulging in haughtiness, attracted rather by the humble; do not indulge in your own wisdom. ' (Romans 12:16)

It is often said that a person is humble when he lowers before the greatness of another and does not seek to compete with it. It is also when you appreciate a quality superior to yours or when you recognize, without any envy, the merit of the other person. But we must not be confused; This is not humility but honesty, because however difficult it is to recognize a greatness that eclipses our own being and our qualities, doing so is nothing but honesty.

When Mary, the sister of Lazarus, knelt before Jesus to anoint her feet with an expensive perfume and then dry them with her own hair, she was not executing any act of humility, but of justice (John 12: 3).

When Jesus took off his clothes and wrapped a towel to wash and dry the feet of his disciples, he was not acting on the basis of justice, but in all humility (John 13: 4-5). The purpose of Jesus at that time explained it very clearly when he said: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, the servant is no more than his master, nor the envoy more than the one who sends him. Knowing this, happy are you if you keep it "(John 13: 16-17).

Humility does not go from the bottom up, but the other way around. It is not that the smallest one pays tribute to the greatest, but that the latter bows with all respect before the smallest. It is totally wrong to want to derive the Christian mentality from earthly customs. Seen in this way, it is perfectly understandable that the big one inclines with kindness and love towards the smallest and knows how to appreciate its value; let him feel excited about the weakness and be prepared to defend it. True humility lies in this: in respectfully bowing the big one before the little one, the older one before the younger.

The act of lowering oneself does not mean losing oneself, because the great one who adopts a humble attitude is sure of himself and of his action, because he knows that he will be rewarded for his action if, by means of it, he is not seeking to be rewarded by the the rest.

His humility allows him to discover the value of smallness as such and finds the greatness of the minute and the minutiae, arriving to realize that life is a continuous exercise of virtuous little things that make the existence of those who practice it great and valuable It does not only understand that the little one is valuable because he also has his values, but that he is valuable precisely because he is small. Here is a profound mystery that only manifests itself to the truly humble man.

It is possible that we already know very well the theory of humility, as well as what it is and what it consists of, but in spite of this knowledge we forget it easily. We need models and, certainly, we have them in abundance.

It is in Jesus Christ that humility experiences its maximum point: it is no longer man but God himself who makes humility his own and identifies with it.

The highest peak of this divine humility has an effect, above all, in two moments: the Birth and the Passion of Christ. The other moments, such as the election of the disciples, the preaching of the masses, the forgiveness of sinners, the health of the sick, the miracles, the washing of feet, are secondary acts of humility that make sense in the light of the humility lived as poverty in the birth in a cave of Bethlehem, and in the humility that means the degradation, the ignominy, the offense, the dishonor and the iniquity in the solitude of the Cross.

What is man so that you remember him? '(Psalm 8: 5).

Divine humility is understood when we understand that God surpasses us, that he is on another level infinitely superior to ours. And it is precisely at this moment that humility is valued and that it is necessarily sought to be put into practice.

Someone said:

"Humility is not an option to which the invitation should be declined, but a need that while we are lacking, it will make us remain restless, restless, without peace and unhappiness. We find our happiness in the supreme Good, which is God."

This touched my heart deeply for the fact of imagining so many people who have discarded the great value of humility.

The virtues and the goods that lead us to the Good, perfect us; They are like the access ladder that allows us to enter the house of Good. When Jesus ascended that ladder he did not renounce himself, but revealed to us the mysterious divine greatness of humanity; a mystery that Jesus himself confirms to us personally and that places us as a task for every believer:

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, and you will find rest for your souls' (Matthew 11:29).

Humility is easier for those who have done something good, than for those who have never done anything good.

Because if someone imagines himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself '
(Galatians 6: 3)

Well said my friend, indeed humility allows us to discover the value of smallness as such and finds the greatness of the minute and the minutiae.

Thanks brother by comment on my publication. these small gestures you do are symbol of humility. again thank you.

Humble individuals can get unfavorable criticism. Modesty is much of the time related with being excessively inactive, meek or unreliable, however this couldn't be any further from reality.

This is a good content.
It take God's grace to have things in abundance and still be humble, but Jesus Christ show us Himself through this. Despite His wealth and greatness, He still humble himself to the extent of washing His disciples feet.

Humility exalt and it shape our walk with God.

We just have to humble ourselves by not considering what we have but rather live as Christ

Thanks for the good comment, I like the people who read the publications and provide valuable content.

Thanks for this.
The best way to know maybe someone is really humble or not is when he/she has enough and don't have to depend on anyone for survival.

We shouldn't allow what we have to deprive us from being humble.
God loves the humble and He always lift those who humble themselves.
We need to humble ourselves unto God and His word and even in our life journey

When you know God and one day the devil decide to deceive and you started following the ways of the evil one the living God will always not be happy with you and he will never ask you why you back slided but what you need to do is to is to come back to Christ and focus your whole mind in his will and his direction.
He is ready to accept any time you have gone astray for he is a God that never forsake his children.
And this is the reason you need to fear God for he will always have mercy on those who fear him.
What God has made is perfect and its great for those who trust in him in truth and in spirit because they will always recieve mercy from the sight of God.
Those who trust in the lord and those who have given their life to christ will always find favour in the face of the lord and they shall lway receive divine direction from the Almighty God
For he who have christ in him is a complete man or woman and will always find favour in the face of the.
God is is so power that he is always there for everybody who have trust in him no matter where you are located.
everything we do or hear should be reflected by Gods word, our life should be of God.
The purpose of Christ coming was fulfilled and was noticed by people who took all they have and all their time to work with the Lord .
Paul through his ministry was able to accomplish various task and he made himself a good example if a right fellow

to be sure quietude enables us to find the estimation of diminutiveness all things considered and finds the significance of the moment and the details.

Thank you for commenting ... Blessings today and always

True humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less, and considering others.

God made us as a social being, we must think of others as they are neighbors. Thanks you

Humble people can receive a bad rap. Humility is frequently associated with being too passive, submissive or insecure, but this couldn't be any further from the truth.

Instead, humble people are quite the oppositeconfident and competent in themselves so much that, as a result, they seek to self-actualize by helping theirs. Humble people are still selfefficacious; they just don’t feel the impetus to boast about themselves but instead, let their actions speak for their ideals. To be humble is not to think less of oneself, but to think of oneself less.

Thank you for the good comment, good contribution regarding humility ..

Yea,we should always be humble,James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Excellent comment with biblical contents that support my publication .. The world needs humble people. Thanks you.
