The Chinese concept of the bus against the traffic
On 19-th international exhibition of high technologies in Beijing was shown a concept bus called TEB (Elevated Transit Bus). The design of the "transport of the future" will allow cars to drive right underneath that, according to developers, will allow to get rid of congestion in densely populated cities.
According to chief project engineer Bai Cumina, bus seats up to 1.2 thousand people and performs the same function as metro, but is much cheaper. The width of the bus is almost 8 meters height — 4.6 meters and a length of 32 meters. It is noted that the essential structure erected literally for a year.
The launch of TEB is already planning to start this year in the Chinese city of Qinhuangdao, Hebei province.
