Soy Meatballs (My Favorite)

Ingredients:

• Soy meat
• Tomato base (I had it made two days ago)
• Sofrito (onion, chili pepper , pepper,garlic .
• Corn flour, corn starch.
• Salt
• pepper

Utensils:

• Cooking pot
• Skillet
• Cauldron
• Preferable silicone cutting board (wooden ones keep fungi and bacteria over time)
• Packaging for ingredients
• A spoon of silicone or aluminum.
• plate and cutlery

Soy meat

Soy meat, also known as textured soy, is a protein obtained through the extrusion process of defatted soybean meal obtained mainly as a byproduct of soybean oil extraction. Wikipedia

Preparation:
First we dehydrated the soy meat in tempering water> (we put it in a bowl with water and let it rest for 4 minutes, we squeeze it and we change the water, we repeat the process 4 times and we are ready to get the dehydrated meat).

The ready meat proceeded to season it and the previously cooked dressings. And the mixers with a little flour in this case are used to give it a good thickness and consistency. Make some balls with the meat, process to fry until browned and reserve.

In a pot place the previously cooked tomato base, add salt / pepper, reduce it and then add the meatballs in the sauce and let cook for 3 minutes to absorb the flavor of the tomato sauce.

Tomato base (poached mature tomatoes) were cooked and skin removed * then a great with onion and garlic, procedures were reduced for a few minutes.
