BUG#24 : Prayer compass crashed in landscape mode

Expected behavior

user should be able to view Prayer compass in landscape mode

Actual behavior

when i open Prayer compass and try to view compass in landscape mode, it crashed

How to reproduce

  • download the app

  • open the app

  • go to Prayer compass

  • then rotate screen and the app crashed

  • Browser/App version: Prayer Times Version 3.7

  • Operating system: android 5.1

    This issue has already been fixed in the latest commits of the application, this particular issue was reported here:

    https://github.com/metinkale38/prayer-times-android/issues/113

    This particular repository has had numerous commits since it's the latest release and to ensure the quality of contributions provided by Utopian I built the latest build of the application to check which issue had been resolved. This particular issue has been resolved by the developer.

    It's great to see that you're now including your GitHub account following my feedback.

    Other areas I think you could improve on are as follows:

    1. Including your device information
    2. Adding a bit more clarity to your expected behaviour, the crash you show is actually on rotation rather than first load, the issue is not it doesn't work in landscape, the issue is that the application crashes following screen rotation.
    3. This type of bug is perfect to include log-cats, log-cats will enhance your contribution considerably. They provide the developer with all the information they need to fix the issue, alongside the rest of the bug report you provide this will help to ensure that Utopian is able to provide consistent value to open source projects.
