The Magic of Home - Feeling And Our Starting Point.

Home isn’t necessarily the place where you live. It’s where you feel comfortable. Home is where you can always return, no matter how long you’ve been away. It’s where a loved one will be waiting for you. It’s where you can be yourself, where you feel completely safe, where you sense warmth and love - that’s your home! We spend years searching for "our place." Eventually, we come to see that the time spent searching was unnecessary because the place we were seeking was right where we began – at home. It’s the very place we return to after years away, only to realize that what we longed for had been in front of us all along. For some, home symbolizes luxury; for others, it signifies comfort.

What do I mean by that? Today, numerous individuals view their surroundings through a materialistic perspective. Many aspire to live in a spacious home with a large garden, a pool, their personal gym, and a recreational space. For many, the dream home ideal is centered on fashionable, modern aesthetics. A sleek, two-story house, beautifully styled inside and out, outfitted with the latest high-end technology, yet even that doesn’t always guarantee happiness. A home is built with love and dreams, not just walls and supports. For others, home could mean a small old house in a poor neighborhood, falling apart and full of old things, but filled with love and harmonious relationships. Home consists of the people who make us feel truly alive, not the objects that surround us.

I once read a statement that when you stay in one place, you become frozen in time, with no way out. This could be true. I’ve met people who have never traveled or changed their place of residence. I’ve also encountered those at the opposite end of the spectrum. Attachment to a place, like home, doesn’t guarantee that a person will become wiser, but it also doesn’t ensure that they will become limited. Attachment to home doesn’t restrict a person from visiting new places and recognizing their diversity and beauty. But how can each of us appreciate other places if we don’t have our own home? The knowledge of home is knowledge of the global. If someone hasn’t found their place, they will view the world as a collection of sights, a collector of experiences, without a framework to evaluate what they see. Those who are indifferent to anything beyond their home are indeed limited. On the other hand, those who have no boundaries - who see the world merely as an intertwining of different paths, bank accounts, and stores - are dangerous not only to themselves but also to the planet...

Reflect on the emotions you experience whenever you return from a journey, stepping across the threshold of your home. House and home – two different concepts. One provides shelter, while the other provides happiness, harmony, and comfort. A house is where our body is, but home is where our heart is. What makes my home a magical place is that I live there regardless of how chaotic, confusing, or imperfect the future may be; it possesses the wonderful quality of being home.
