December is the return of longer days, the victory of light over darkness.

In antiquity, we celebrated, at this time of the year, the Saturnalia, in honor of Saturn, a divinity associated with sowing, with agriculture: the Romans offered each other gifts, garnished their homes with branches holly ...

And, this tradition continues, nowadays, with the Christmas tree which gives us the opportunity to decorate our houses, to give them an air of celebration ... isn't the decoration of the tree a ritual? friendly that delights young and old?

For my part, I am a follower of traditional decorations, and I hardly appreciate the novelties in this field, some take pleasure in a bad taste modernity to decorate their Christmas tree: blue butterflies, black balls, feathers and dark decorations. ...
