Post Holiday Breakfast
Phew! The holidays are almost over!
And that means that I can finally take a break from feasting and eat something lighter and healthier for a change.
Can I call this a breakfast idea? Or should I say I gathered some stuff around my house to make this yogurt-cantaloupe plate? Regardless of names, I think this is a great way to start your day if you've been eating leftover turkey for breakfast.
Things you'll need:
- granola;
- maple syrup;
- low fat plain yogurt;
- cantaloupe slices (or fruit of your choice);
- dark chocolate (chopped).
There are so many different ways you could customize this plate and truly make it your own, throw some nuts in there or fresh berries, maybe a few dried cranberries or figs and there you have it, no cooking required! Simple, easy and yummy to your tummy!
