I. Classic Gingerbread Men Cookies by @mrchef111.

Y'ALL! Christmas is only 15 days away! I can't believe this . . . Time flies, and it also brings us closer to the dinner table ;).
So in attempt to spread some holiday cheer I decided to go ahead and pick a food post for once. First off, I would like to mention that when I discovered the post it had a pending payout of 11 wls which today translates to $0.66, damn . . .

Anyways. @mrchef111 is a YouTuber and a food blogger. If you head over to his YoutTube channel In The Kitchen With Matt you will see a ton of yummylicious recipes and gardening tips.

As shameful as it is (for me) I have never made ginger bread cookies before, going through this step by step recipe by Matt really inspired me to give them a try this holiday season. He makes the process look so easy and a lot less intimidating for anyone who's new to baking, too.

Let's get baking! Ho! Ho! Ho!

II. Aida Rojas - Gris (acústico) by @aidarojasmusica.

Oh my, now that is a rad score! This girl is super talented and I am beyond happy I stumbled upon a post of hers last night. To get the math out of the way, the pending payout of this was like 26 wls upon discovery thanks to @djlethalskillz mainly, which is $1.56, boys and gals. Luckily, using our communal efforts we can change that and make peoples' day a bit brighter :).

Aida is a 20 year old songwriter and composer, she just recently moved from Caracas to Barquisimeto and it was the best decision she has ever made, she said in her intro post. I'm pleased to learn that things are working out for her!

"Gris" (Grey in English) was the first song she wrote back in 2016 or 2017, since then she improved her style and changed the way she performs a bit, but I personally think it's great as is.
I Google translated the lyrics and did a quick scan through them. Coming from a young, teenage girl at the time, the song is honest, angsty and melancholic, perhaps even based on her personal past. I like it.

Here is a more recent song by Aida. I highly recommend you guys check it out and smash that "Like" button haha.
