“Ice Storm Coming Soon”

I took this photo of a beautiful Blomidon dyke this New Year's. After this, we had a huge snow day. And then, we had a strangely warm day today which was like 12 degrees.
Now, we have a strong wind before the ice storm. Everybody went storm shopping today. I really hope our electricity is gonna be ok this time. The autumn hurricane was horrible. We didn't have electricity for about three days and some areas were without power for more than a week. Everybody tried well at that time but that was in autumn . I don't want to lose electricity in winter.

“もうすぐ嵐がやってきます”

この綺麗なブロミドン堤防の写真は、正月に撮ったものです。このあと大雪が降り、そして今日はなんとも不思議な暖かさで12度もありました。
現在は強風で、このあと嵐がやってくるとの予報です。嵐の前の買い物でスーパーがにぎわっていました。今回の嵐は、電気がなんでもないことを祈ります。去年の秋のハリケーンは大変でした。電気が3日ほど止まり、一部地域では１週間以上止まったところもありました。みんななんとか乗り越えましたが、あの時は秋でした。冬に電気が止まってほしくはないですね！
