The Broadway Legend, Lea Salonga

I still can't get over how magical it is listening to Lea Salonga's voice. She was the pioneer character of Kim in Miss Saigon, a musical in Broadway.

I believe she got the role when she was 17 towards 18. In the video below, you can see she was still so young, she's 46 now I think.

All I can say is she portrayed the role very well that she left a very high standard for the next actress to play it. So far, I think nobody tops her performance even if there has been a few that carried the role. This is quite true among the audience as well who were able to watch the same play, nobody tops her. I think Miss Saigon is made just for her because of her outstanding performance. 😁

She sang two Disney Princesses too, Princess Jasmine's voice(A Whole New World with Brad Kane) and Mulan (Reflection).

Her voice like wine it only gets better with time. She's truly a national gem.
