Cucumber for Acne
In my previous blog, I have been talking about finding relief on my severe acne. I was advised to eat lots of fruits and vegetables since one of the factors that makes an unruly hormones that causes breakouts depends on the kind of diet we take too.
Growing up, I was not really into worse intake of junkfood, sodas but I am sure I have a sweet tooth. I love cakes and chocolates and juices. Still it contributes to why I am having a bad breakout when I turned 30.
A lot of my friends whom I have not seen for many years were so saddened why I am having such severe acne on the jawline and huge cystic pimples when I was face flawless back then. It's probably the aging factors and stresses too that finally get to manifest on my face.
Fortunately it was slowly eliminated because of lesser beaty products usage on face and a healthy diet.
Let's talk about cucumbers.
Cucumbers are one of nature's gift to prevent pimples and acne. They are said to be in the watermelon family. It contains vitamins A, C and folic acid while it's peel is rich in fiber and minerals such as magnesium, molybdenum and potassium. It also contains silica that helps strengthen our connective tissues. It is one of the wonder fruits that when consume, heals many skin conditions and irritations. It is also rich in ascorbic and caffeic acid that helps prevent water loss.

Nothing beats windex.
what's that???
Windex is a window cleaning solution. There's a joke in the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding where a guy insists that windex can be used to cure wounds, acne and probably death.
As it happens, it does contain some ammonia, so it works fine as a disinfectant. I'm more skeptical of the acne claim though.
