Cloning Stevia

in #life8 years ago (edited)

Hello friends!!

Yesterday I finally decided to trim my Stevia since I read somewhere that it needs prunning to encourage branches. My Stevia is over 5 inches tall and I think it is the time to work on my propagation experiment.

I took one soft cuttings and place it in water. There are 2 nodes that I submerged in water. It is said that roots develop from those nodes. I hope I will be able to propagate my Stevia effectively. I wanted to have more supply of this sugar alternative soon.

Right now I only have two Stevia plants. They are doing well however I am taking my time in propagating gradually not only to observe but learn from it when growing.
