Diarygame:08/05/2021 - my journey to the west

Hello steemians and welcome to my daily diary. Am so excited today because am going home finally after 4 months of being in school. I couldn't sleep out of excitement and also because my journey was going to be long so I wanted to be tired and sleep on the bus instead. At around 5:30 i got out of bed and did my last minute packing.

I finished and after about 2 hours. I ironed and showered and got dressed. I was to report to the bus terminal at 11:00 but the terminal was in Bolgatanga which is about an hour away from Navrongo where I school so I set off to bolga at 10:30 and I reached at 11:29.

We weight our luggage and got our boarding pass and waited for the luggage to be packed in the bus. The bus took off at 1:03. According to Google map our journey suppose to be about 12hrs long.

Considering the traffic on the way and also the fact that we bus broke down it took as about 18 hours. The bus stopped at 3 rest stops( Tamale, Kintampo and Kumasi) where we stretched our legs and also buy food.
After sleeping and waking up for the 100th we were still no where close to home. We finally arrived at 7:20 am i was exhausted. I reunited with my mom and little sister and called my grandmother and aunty to let them know i have arrived safely

After i was done i had breakfast, showered and went straight to bed whiles the rest of my family went to church.
That was about it about my journey from Upper East
to Western region ( my journey to the West ) have i wonderful day
