Steemit therapy after a bad day w/ pinup Samantha Rose!

What a fucking day, guys! Myself, @vermillionfox and @millsguthrie were suppose to depart from our beloved Minneapolis at 1:22p.m. this afternoon. As of this writing, we are still in our beloved Minneapolis, post-flight-cancellation. We’d booked this trip to visit @bonni @customnature and friends on the east coast. Although I’ve said “…I’ll NEVER book with Spirit again!” at least a dozen times, I found myself trying to save $120 on three tickets, and did just that. Four delays, and two full boarding and de-boardings later, that money would have been well spent just flying on another airline. We’re going to try again tomorrow morning. Thanks @moony for the ride […both ways, and tomorrow].

I’m in a cranky mood after 10 hours at an airport that ultimately got us no where. I’m cranky that I wasn’t able to post yesterday as a result of preparing and packing for a flight that still hasn’t happened. I’ll be photographing my friend Ryan Ashley, the winner of last season’s Inkmaster on July 3rd. I’ll also be shooting w/ one of my favorite clients, Miss Violet Vixen. My last shoot I’m really excited for with NYC female tattooer, Alisha Gory. These shoots can’t come fast enough! I think it’ll be therapeutic for me to post a shoot tonight that I did on the east coast.

I met Samantha Rose at a party hosted by @vintagevandalizm during Viva Las Vegas in 2015. There were a lot of people there but we were introduced and talked for a few minutes She was very kind and said she enjoyed my work. @vintagevandalzim mentioned to me that she was from New York and we did the Instagram follow exchange, which is customary. She even participated in this ridiculous […but still one of my favorite] photo of me surrounded by beautiful pinup girls while I read comics!

A year later, I announced on Instagram that I’d be taking a couple of bookings during a three day stay in NYC and Samantha reached out to me. She wanted to book a session and I was looking forward to shooting with her and seeing her again. We made plans, picked a date and I booked our make-up artist […my friend Susan Simmons, whom I always work with when in New York].

I arrived early to our shoot location, the Masion-Close boutique in SoHo, where Samantha worked as the store manager. I remember how cute and reserved she seemed when I met her that night at @vintagevandalizm’s party but I wasn’t at ALL prepare for her in high end expensive lingerie. She was an absolute bombshell when she cut through that curtain! Her body was the quintessential hourglass figure, all curves, absolutely stunning! 

She was a dream to shoot with. Completely upbeat and happy, excited to be collaborating, excited to represent her company’s brand. The boutique was gorgeous with a distinct French look. I moved Samantha around and arranged many of the complex, crazy shots I’m becoming known for. She had great energy and a beautiful, intense seduction. She tried on multiple looks, each one better than the last. We kept our shoot to under two hours and made a wealth of sexy, curvy, dark pinup photos.
