Midwest wild child!

Good evening, Steemit! I’m home. It’s quite, and all is well in Minneapolis at the moment. @guthrie’s winter concert was this afternoon and it was incredible. I did my fatherly duty of standing less than 10’ front him with a phone and Osmo gimbal camera, recording every moment, causing him to hide behind his shirt in embarrassment. We made our way to @caffetto afterwards, and I’m not kidding here…I beat @tarotbyfergus and our friend Micah in ten [at least] unanswered victories in Magic: The Gathering. Winning streaks like that are rare, so I’m euphoric!

I’m doing a pretty good job of staying on task with the client edits that I owe. I have a lot of things being juggled at once right now, so I can’t get to everything…but if I can survive another two months without having to travel, I “should” be able to catch up on everything I owe. Tonight, I finished the final set of edits for a beautifully wild Minnesota model named Christina. We’d followed one another on Instagram for years and earlier she finally reached out about booking a shoot in my home city. We scheduled it after my return from Viva Las Vegas.

Christina is really a wild child. She has this cool late 60’s vibe, in style and personality. She holds 100% ownership of her body, femininity and sexuality and this shoot was a representation of that. We shot at her home, and from a photography perspective, I reveled in the decor and color. Earthy tones and window light in the living room, shadows in the basement and a messy, editorial backdrop in the garage, complete with classic muscle car. It was all perfect. Her personality made this shoot so memorable and fun. 

I’m really happy I was able to get this last set of photos to Christina tonight. She’s been incredibly patient and understanding of my schedule since the spring. Tomorrow is going to be busy day. I’ll be missing my friend @lovejoy at Gorkha Palace for the lunch buffet. @guthrie has an appointment in the afternoon, and I’ll have the afternoon and evening to myself. Hoping to get some @coppercoins work done, and catch up with @ghostfish as we’re moving in to the final week of our crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGO. Thanks for reading! Good night!
