Lady in red!
Good evening, Steemians! I’m here in bed on a brisk Minnesota evening. Space heater going. Once I’m finished with this post, I’ll be looking forward to starting the drawing to next week’s Trial by Comics theme artwork, and hopefully reading that last few issues of Batman Metal. The day has been good to me. @vermillionfox and I carved out time see Thor: Ragnarok while @guthrie was in school. The evening saw some MTG combat against @tarotbyfergus […who is a new holder of Litecoin] and @iamredbar. Not a bad day.
Tonight’s photography is from a client and friend I’ve never shared here on Steemit, in any capacity. Every time I’ve thought about it, I hesitated, because she works in the corporate industry. I tread carefully on that because I’d never want to be responsible for an awkward or potentially reactionary decision by a company or employer for risqué photos. I finally got in touch with her, Emme, for the sake of this Steemit post, and she gave me permission to share some safe for work images! Lucky us!
Emme came to me years ago through @kellifury. I was beginning to make a splash here in the Twin Cities for my photography. Work was picking up and my name was getting out there. Emme lived in Atlanta, but would visit Minneapolis once or twice a year to see friends. She contacted me about booking a shoot in 2012 for her next scheduled visit early the following year. We’ve worked together almost every year from 2013 to our most recent, last October. These images are from our two most recent shoots.
Each time, she’d book the nicest hotels in Minneapolis which always created the perfect backdrop for dark boudoir photography. Every time, without fail, Emme would book Sandy Xiong for make-up and Nicole Crust of Revolting Locks, for hair. I’ve been working with these two beauty artists since I moved to Minnesota in 2010 and they’re the best. They’d get Emme ready and once I arrived at her room, she always lays out an assortment of evening gowns, dresses and lingerie.
Shooting in the lobby of these four star hotels is always a treat. Contemporary stone and design, usually with fireplaces […it is Minnesota, and it’s usually during the winter]. From there, we make our way upstairs to the room and begin creating the dark, seductive images I’ve become known for. Shooting with her is always such a great experience. We’ve build a friendship over the years and it’s just nice to hang out, laugh and create art.
Thanks for reading. For more photography, art, illustration and the stories behind the work, follow me here at @kommienezuspadt!

Really like the first photo--her positioning, the table in the foreground (with her reflection, even), the glass of wine.....nice composition.
Thank you @corinnestokes! I love when people notice little things like that. They were definitely deliberate.
Definitely very lucky for us, she is a stunner! And what a treat for someone who is stuck in an airport waiting for a 5hours bus ride😅
Thank you @eveuncovered! How was Steemfest? I've been keeping track on your blog. Did you happen to run in to my friend @lovejoy. I told him to to find you and give you a hug from me. Safe travels!
Yup that's the right stuff alright. :-)
Very pretty woman and excellent photography.
Upvoted and Followed!
Thanks @as-i-see-it!
You're very welcome. :-)
Thank you for your reply! :-)
Wishing you happiness, smiles, sweet dreams and sunshine! :-)
Lady in red, the ultimate distraction @kommienezuspadt! :)
Outstanding work @kommienezuspadt!
Thanks @mweich!
Wow, very nice photos and model.
She's great @dezconocido! Thank you.
Good Information :)
@kanou This comment is for your benefit so you don't find others downvoting or flagging you.
I have noticed that you have made a number of very short comments on other blogs, which are similar in style to the one above. They don’t really add anything to the discussion of the topic.
Please help keep Steemit free of spam posts.
If you like a post, it is generally sufficient to upvote it unless you want to join in the debate.
You didn’t even bother to upvote this blogger.
Short comments like “awesome”, “nice post” “amazing post”, “really helpful”, “nice blog bro” or “thanks for sharing” are generally not seen as part of the debate on the topic ,and if repeated across multiple posts, may be interpreted as spam. You seem to be repeating the same kind of comment on many blogs, without any mention of the subject matter.
This kind of behavour looks like spam and you risk others interpreting it that way and flagging you.
Another thing to be careful of is asking other people to upvote or follow. This is also counter-productive and irritating. Asking for upvotes and follows is against Steemit etiquette. Some users may downvote, mute, or flag you if you do this.
Downvotes or flags can lower your reputation, can result in the removal of rewards, and may result in your posts not being seen by others.
Don’t worry, I haven’t flagged or downvoted you. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you were genuinely trying to encourage the poster. An upvote would have been sufficient.
I often reward intelligent comments. I have a lot of Steempower. A 100% upvote from me is worth hundreds of times a normal upvote. I hope I can reward you for intelligent and thought provoking posts in the future. Good luck in your future posts!
(Other bloggers, please let me know whether you agree or disagree with my comment. If you disagree, feel free to upvote the person who left the short comment, as I won’t be doing so.)
LOL
Wow those ar amazing photos!!
Thank you @twofingersshort.
Wow, her cheekbones could cut glass. What a stunner. I especially love the 2nd pic, of her curled up on the couch. And that last one, with her stretched over to the side table. (I think I've seen you use this positioning before - uncomfortable but worth it!)
Oh, yeah. That's one I use a lot @offbeatbroad, especially in small hotel rooms. It's difficult to come up with interesting poses and I rely on the light I have in the room. I don't bring lighting equipment with me, so laying the models on the end tables usually has some sort of light mounted in that area.
Sexy shots
Thank you @viraldrome.
