Final photos w/ Kiwi pinup, Ceara!
Greetings, friends! A new routine in my life is emerging. That’s probably a good for those struggling with the quarantine because life always finds a way to disrupt my routine just when I’m comfortable with it. I woke up early this morning, sat down and began to write. For the first time in a long time, it just came to me, like a dam bursting. I managed to get 2,500 words done in a couple of hours. Midday, made some progress on an @eos.detroit drawing, and finally, finished with the edits I’ll be sharing here tonight.
Last night, I shared new work with a beautiful Kiwi pinup named Ceara. Tonight, I decide that rather than starting on another client from the same trip, I’d just see it through and edit the last set I owed. It’s not really a twist-my-arm situation, after all. Ceara is gorgeous and it’s a pleasure to work on her photos. Much of what I mentioned in last night’s blog is the same. If you haven’t already, you should read that blog. I never miss an opportunity to mention that the space we shot is a bar in Auckland called Shanghai Lil’s, and the decor is from the set of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
It really was such a pleasure to work with Ceara. I felt like we connected on a deeper level than all the clients I had during this tour. She sent me a very personal email with her reasons for booking the shoot. I feel like she extended a lot of trust to me, and I feel like honored that well. Tomorrow, I will be finishing another client from Auckland, and hopefully by the weekend, I can start wrapping things up with all my shoots in Christchurch from the summer as well. Thanks for following my wild journey through this photography career.
She definitely did kill that shoot man!
Can't stop going back up and looking at the photos.
Very movie like shots, specially the first one. <3
