Briefly about basic income - in points

in #politics8 years ago

For those unfamiliar with the concept - a quick introduction:

the socio-political model of public finances assumes that every citizen, regardless of his financial situation, receives from the state an equal, defined by law, amount of money for which no consideration is required.

1. basic income is an allowance;

2. the allowance is to give people money they have not earned;

3. "money for nothing" demoralize;

4. citizens will demand more and more benefits from the election for elections - that's how demoralization works;

5. the benefit is funded from the state budget;

6. to pay the allowance you must first collect more than he is from taxpayers (costs of bureaucracy and inefficiency of the state apparatus);

7. taking a citizen earning, for example, 3,000 USD, e.g. net, 1200 USD in tax to give him, for example, 1000 USD, will not be well received;

8. the majority of tax costs will be passed on to companies and the richest;

9. as the tax will be national and will apply to all companies from all industries, the issue of price competition will not come into play here - prices of products and services of all companies will increase;

10. for someone earning, for example, 3,000 USD net, e.g. 10%, the price increase will be more severe than for someone earning, for example, 30,000 USD - in reality, the poorest will pay for benefits;

11. what moral law, on the basis of which ethical system the state is supposed to favor (officially) some - poorer - at the expense of others (who are to pay higher taxes) - richer? Based on what moral right?

12. does man have authority over man B without B's consent? No;

13. where does the power of the state come from - citizens;

14. can you give something that you do not have? No;

15. since one citizen has no power over another man, he can not give it to the state;

16. the state has no moral or logical foundations for being;

17. I recommend reading the remedy - anarchocapitalism (good video introduction: link1 , link2);
