QUICK AND EASY CORNED BEEF OMELETTE || WITH VIDEO TUTORIAL
How are you all lovely people of Steemit and Steemfoods community? I hope you had an awesome Mother's day weekend. Today is another day to learn a new recipe.
If you're looking for something that you can whip easily in less than 15 minutes, I've got the perfect recipe for you. Today I'll be showing you how to make quick and easy corned beef omelette.
This is a very versatile dish, you can have it for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner. It's so tasty even your kids will surely love it (it will trick them into eating some veggies 😀). So let's crack some eggs and get this omelette started.
INGREDIENTS
1 can Purefoods Corned Beef, 210g
250 grams Cabbage, shredded
3 small size Red Tomatoes, sliced
1 medium size Green Bell Pepper, sliced
1 medium size White Onion, sliced
7 whole Eggs, slightly beaten
4 tablespoons Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste
PROCEDURE
STEP 1. In a hot pan, add 3 tablespoons of butter then saute green bell pepper, onions and tomatoes. Saute for 2 minutes.
STEP 2. Add Purefoods corned beef and cook for another 2 minutes.
STEP 3. Add sliced cabbage, season with salt and pepper, and continue to cook for another two minutes. Do not overcook the cabbage. Transfer sauteed vegetables and corned beef in a separarate container and set aside.
STEP 5. On another non-stick pan, melt 1 tablepoons of butter. Then, add your beaten eggs. Using a rubber spatula, move the eggs around the pan until the bottom of the omelette is evenly cooked.
STEP 6. The top of the omelette should be slightly runny. Add back the sauteed vegetables and corned beef on top of the omelette. Cook for another minute.
STEP 7. Loosen the sides of the omelette with a spatula and then fold to one side.
STEP 8. Now you are ready to flip. Grab a large dinner plate and carefully flip the omelette to the plate.
STEP 9. Serve and Enjoy.
This recipe is best serve with tomato rice and good for 4 servings.
