Walking With Elephants
Today we took a 70km drive along the Garden Route towards Plettenberg Bay, South Africa to go and feed the elephants in the Knysna Elephant Park!
Friendly staff guided us on a short tractor trip to where the elephants were waiting for us to bring them their daily snacks. They ate out of our hands and were more than eager to let us take photos with them.
The Elephant Park is also a well established sanctuary for orphaned elephants. They also have rehabilitation projects for elephants from all over South Africa.
It was a incredible feeling to get so close, touch and interact with those majestic animals.
Definitely a place worth visiting!
