Eye of Mind

Visions of 20/20 was once there
A kid of keen perception, of seeing.
The eyes are duller now
Yet more powerful then the night.

The continents are more clear
And the craters on the moon.
Is it any wonder then
He can view past Neptune.

Starboats off the belt of Orion
A nebula ten years light.
A fire in the dark matter
Presents a beautiful sight.

An ant rebuilds a tunnel
The microbe engulfs the other.
The strategy to resist um
Or a reason to meet another.

Cerebrum to cerebellum
Used by other races.
The picture in the memory
Takes you to untold places.
