I KILLED, AND IT FELT GOOD
Won without a fight
My competition, soon to be history
Lost in all it's right
Maybe I was a tad proactive
Nature played a fast one on me
Looked to the humble submissive
Soon to spice my lovely mee
I searched for my conscience
How late I was, it took a long stroll
To a land without patience
Leaving me, a monstrous evil troll
Had I put up a fight
To win and defile nature
Choosing to walk, and not bite
Fear would have been my portraiture
I took a life, for want of life
Remembering now, I'll still take two
I had to feed, but by my knife
It lost it's life, but gave me mine

I really enjoyed this poem.. i have been trying to read more poetry and am considering writing it again.. i havent wrote any in well over a decade, but i use to really enjoy it.. seeing poems like this really make me want to start back up. Thanks for posting it 😊
