I have been a steemian for a little over 7 months and have been serious for 3 months out of the 7.
My stay on steemit so far has really taught me so much, the most important above all is:
PATIENCE
Every successful steemian today would tell you the same thing. Being patient is a virtue you must cultivate on steemit if you are to get the best out of the community.
Today I want to talk about someone very special I met on steemit who has taken my art international, she is none other than @topkpop
This selfless lady who I do not know physically except via her voice on the radio, is an exceptional lady with a large heart. Think about it, I am here in Nigeria and My songs receive air-plays in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
You might easily ask me, "Now that your songs are being played what next?" ALLOW ME TO SHOW YOU
My Rock Band is called We R Cube
The very first time she aired my song on her live radio show ...
The very song she played that day was one we titled ONE LOOK and since that very airplay, has recorded over 500 downloads.
She recently had another Air-play a few days back where she featured my band again, this time she played another of our songs titled THE SECRET, so far it has recorded 100 downloads.
For me this is a win, I didn't have to lobby anyone or try to cajole someone to help me out here, all I did was stay true to my art till another friend who I met on steemit @ethandsmith introduced me to @topkpop.
Steemit is a fantastic platform to grow your art guys, take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your music to the world.
