Amidst what can only be described as the brink of the next great world wide monetary depression a revolutionary technology built for storytelling and news sharing appears. Helping to redistribute wealth to those willing to put the effort in. Although a newer technology, the user adoption rate appears phenomenal.

The technology and what I believe to be one of the world's largest future employers:

STEEM and Steemit.com aim to take the money back from large corporate news firms and social media moguls by empowering it's users to write and curate news and articles for a new currency called STEEM. At this point it's a strictly digital currency. Users from around the world are allowed to sign up FREE with a facebook or reddit account and start working immediately putting their writing skills to use, sharing their stories and news..

The best part? These users (now employed by STEEM) receive monetary rewards for their efforts based on peer curation. Honest efforts to share well written original articles are generally met with large payouts fueled by the votes of their peers. Although the average STEEM users vote only nets a cent or two, en masse it's been proven that these votes pile up, and many writers on the platform have received thousands of dollars in a matter of hours after their articles go viral. Users can also earn STEEM by voting on others articles, although writing is where the real rewards are here.

No need to put race or religion on the application either. Great place to work.

"Do you want equality, or special treatment, you cannot have both because they are mutually exclusive"

I have never in my life seen an application that asked for either race or religion.

I haven't filled one out for awhile. They didn't have religion ever. That is medical documentation so they know what type of priest to get if you need one.

I did see it on applications probably 5 to 10 years ago and I believe it is related to Affirmative Action where they had to hire so many % of minorities.

I haven't needed to really pay attention to that for awhile as I've gotten my last few positions by recommendations. :)
