It's been another week already?! Where the heck does the time go? We're into November now according to my calendar which means sadly summer here in north america is officially over and fall is well set in now. Daylight hours are getting awfully short this time of year but has no effect on my witness activity and development.. nocturnal anyways most of the time!

If you haven't seen it yet... Steemit Inc made a proposal today to change the dynamics of how the network prints STEEM, Check it out below. As a top 50 witness I fully support the changes proposed in the post.

A short overview what I worked on this week:

- Project STEEMBAY (Postponed for Now)

Earlier this week the idea was hatched by myself to start offering STEEM and SBD on Ebay to allow folks to purchase it via their credit cards or paypal. Unfortunately I've had to postpone these listing for the time being as I look into a physical delivery method of some sort in order to protect myself from charge-backs and having funds tied up for months on paypal with buyers not finalizing payments even after receiving the tokens.

- What I'm Doing as a Witness to Fix the STEEM / SBD Value

I've adjusted my interest rate on SBD held up to 20% APR meaning that if my proposal (originally kindled by @smooth) is accepted and implemented by the majority of witnesses we'll be seeing a healthy boost in reason to hold Steem Backed Dollars in your account. I can't think of any other liquid investment where anyone can possibly earn that much on initial so hopefully my fellow witnesses follow suit and we see the interest rate rise. :)

-Streemit.online Update

This project has ended up taking a little bit longer to get "right" than I'd initially projected. However this isn't entirely detremental and simply means more functionality and utility is being implemented onto the site in order to provide the best experience for STEEM users when the streeming platform formally launches in the future. The main currency on site was switched from SBD to STEEM and both currency/tokens being implemented is being work on. Another great feature I've been busy trying to perfect is the live price viewer located at here:

SSL certificates were also implemented on site in order to bolster security and privacy of the sites users. As time goes on Streemit will try it's very best to stay up to date and on top of all secure standards.

Also would like to extend a thank you shout out to @pharesim for sponsoring the next 3 months of server costs. This isn't cheap by any means and I'd like to make it known that he's an excellent witness whom supports developers on the STEEM network. <3

The GUI of Streemit is currently being renovated to further emulate Steemit but I'll make sure it has enough differences in order to not confuse people switching between streemit/steemit tabs. Please be patient while I get the wallet and front end fixed and more mobile friendly as well.

On a side note I've also sold some STEEM and SBD today in order to support the http://steem.global seed node as well as my witness server bill for this month.
