Debut

Ever since I was a little girl, there is one thing that I dreamed about of having when I grew up, my Debut.

Birthdays are the most awaited event in our life every year. We are excited of the thought that our parents would prepare delicious foods for us, cakes, blowing of candles and of course the presents from our friends and loved ones.

Filipinos celebrates this event by throwing a big party. I still can't forget the day when I turned 18,sleepless nights, preparations, giving invitations and etc it was a bit stressful to be honest because of the preparations but I was bit excited also. I never dreamed of having a very big celebration ,I just want it to be simple and all my loved ones including my mother and little brother would be there but sadly they didn't make it (mom and lil bro) because of the situation of our place that time.

July 20,2017 is the day. Our relatives from Bukidnon had arrived and they took rest, explored our place and etc. While me is busy scrolling in my facebook feed thanking people who greeted me. I don't know what to feel that time-- should I be happy, sad because my mother won't make it or would I be crying because this is the last hour being 17 or I honestly don't know hahahaha. It was 3:00pm that time when I started preparing myself and the celebration will start at 6:00pm, I was in the salon that time and the person their praised me with my beauty (haha ok).

Fastforwaaaard, it is already 6:00pm and I am in the venue already and my visitors also. I welcomed them with a song. I have my 18 roses, candles, and treasures and of course the preeeeeseeeents. So they took pictures with me after and that's it.

I can say that I am very happy that time even my mom is not around but knowing that there are lots of people appreciates me,made my day special.
