TRAINING THE TONGUE

Hello Steemians,

I have always questioned why the rope goes into the horse's mouth, but soon I found out that it was used to get the horse to submit. This singular act helps to control the horse. In the same vain, if it is possible for people to control their tongue, the world will be a better and peaceful place for all. The tongue, is one of the smallest parts of the body and also an essential organ of speech. It has other functions such as aiding swallowing, and tasting of food. The tongue may be small, but it is a very powerful weapon that can be misused for lying, deceit, false witnessing and flattering. It has it's problems especially when used for the above listed negative purposes.
The scripture has if that life and death are in the power of the tongue. The tongue can be compared to sharp sword, poison
Note: An uncontrolled tongue always attracts trouble just like the magnet attracts pieces of iron. The words of the mouth should rather be guided for lost of souls. We should first of all think before we talk because thinking is very beneficial when talking and before we talk we should observe this principles is it

Finally, a man who committed an offense against the King of Russia was about to be hanged in the early 1800s and when the rope was secured around his head, the support upon which he was standing was removed and as he was about to be hanged, something happened, the rope cut. A messenger sent the news to the King because such an occurrence is regarded as the act of God, the King immediately turned to sign for the man's release but he stopped and ask whether the man said anything when it happened the messenger said "He was shouting that Russia could not even make a simple rope." The King ordered the executioners to double the rope and hang the man. The man was finally hanged because his tongue refused to be trained. Finally don't talk when you are angry so as not make the biggest Mistake of your life.
