I am all packed and ready to go on my 3 week work trip to Tasmania Australia, at the moment i am having a quiet bourbon before we have nacho's for dinner.

So at around 2.45am NZ time tomorrow morning i will jump in the car and drive a couple of hours to Wellington Airport and drop the car off in the long term parking place.

Here is my boarding pass and i now have the Qantas app on my phone so i am clearly one of the big kids now, all four flights are booked with Qantas as i dislike Air NZ.

I had to black out my name but most of you will know that it states "dickface" under that 😁

This time tomorrow i will be in Launceston after grabbing the rental car from Hertz and checking into my accommodation for the next 19 days.

I am going to miss my family and this will be the longest time away from them as the trip to Adelaide and Perth late last year was 13 days.

The Family will be fine as will Smudge but i will start to miss them as the time goes by, on the brighter side i will be earning $2K per week which will go nicely into my bank account.

I got asked what i wanted for dinner tonight being the last night at home and i suggested beef nachos, its cookign as i type and smells good.
