I made it out. The other day I came home after a long day of driving to see my family gathered in the living room. As soon as I entered, all eyes fell upon me. I knew what it was about. I sat down and felt something warm but ignored it and adjusted to get comfortable. "We're worried. . . " As my sister begins to talk the sound of her voice drains out and replaced by a comparable sound to the parents of Charlie Brown. I look around, heart beat quickens. My focus starts to go toward the bathroom. "I'll be right back." I say. As I sprung out of my seat I heard a loud inhumane noise and realized the warm spot on my bum had disappeared. I turn around to see my cat spread Eagle in the air with the fear for life in her eyes. My heart beat quickens as i begin to sweat and my legs get weaker. With my stomach tight I start running for the bathroom. After a few steps my feet were no longer under me and i fall to the floor. Upon impact a bubble of flatulence comes out. All the eyes in the room turn from bewilderment to laughter. My vision starts to fade. Horrified, I get on my feet and run into the bathroom. I slam the door, lock it, and sit down on the toilet (no time for a makeshift toilet seat cover). Following the release, vision returns and heart beat settles. There is a knock on the door. "Sweety you ok?" asked my concerned Mother. "I don't know, my stomach hurts." I said. "Maybe we can talk about this later." said my Mom walking away. I waited a good 30 minutes before making my escape and slithering back to my room. I survived.
