Wednesday Motivation - Sort Yourself Out

Here's a simple, inspirational talk that lays all the cards on the table. I love that he asks what we will be in 10 years if we start sorting ourselves out now.

Here are my five dragons of chaos(?) for today:

  • stop eating wheat and let my immune system recover
  • get outside for a walk
  • make sure my loved ones know I care
  • bring my best game to my work
  • practice being present even in the small things

That was a great video, not quite what I expected. It's true though, that most of us know exactly what we should be doing, even as we ignore and avoid that thing. I can think of a few things I'm avoiding...

I am glad it inspired! Care to share? : )

Well, maybe not all of it, but here's a few:

  • Need to get out for a walk with the dog, despite the constant rain
  • Need to get more words completed per day, regardless of which project they are for
  • Need to schedule which day to work on which project; partly just to save decision-making energy, and partly to help with the word count.

I commiserate, especially on your first and last points, except my weather challenge is snow. One of my goals this year was to systematize certain easy decisions to save frustration. It is working well so I am in favour of saving decision-making energy. Thanks for sharing!

I love this post, been looking for inspiration and am finding lots here today. You can give up wheat, I have managed to stay off it for 3 months now. At first it was tricky but it gets easier! Happy Wednesday :)
