Rudnichnom., Which he himself revived in place of the old church destroyed in Soviet times and turned into a court building. Father Leonid opened a parish school in the village and taught the Word of God in it. He also conducts church services in surrounding settlements and penitentiary institutions. on his initiative already in seven colonies, Orthodox churches and chapels have been built and are functioning. He has church monasteries. For many years, the father of the Leonid is making a pilgrimage to the Great River and he considers his life as coinciding with the path of the Velikorets Cross procession. This year, according to the blessing of Metropolitan Viatka and Slobodsky Chrysanth, Father Leonid revived the procession in honor of St. Simeon Stylite from the village of Kai (former Kai district - now Verkhnekamsky district of the Kirov region - the place of exile "iron Felix") to the Porysh river to a place called Kibanovo , where even at the beginning of the last century there was a Kibanov Chapel in honor of Simeon Stylite. After the establishment of Soviet power in Vyatka, the chapel was destroyed along with many temples, and the Cross procession ceased to exist (it was forbidden). Now the efforts of Father Leonid and by the grace of God The procession was revived, and there is a hope that faith in the souls of people will also revive. Great Patriotic Procession for the first time after the ban gathered 400 people, now it involves thousands of parishioners and pilgrims from all over Russia. In the procession to the Porysh River on September 14, 80 people left, but we believe that from year to year it will come and grow to its former size. At other times, the Kibanov Chapel on the shore of Porysha collected a thousand or more pilgrims.
Father Leonid asks everyone who has information about the Crossroads on the Porysh river in honor of St. Simeon, to share this information with him.
