Will you make fence without knowing the Precise Boundaries?

I Don't know who is the right between me and my girlfriend about fencing our newly own lot. She likes to put fence to let others know that we own the property and I the other hand doesn't want to rush it because we don't know the exact boundary of the property.

The question is - will you make fence around the property even you don't know the boundaries of each sides?
