A Late Breakfast, A Tasty Lunch
It's hot these days, and honestly, my appetite seems to have disappeared. Last night, I had a heavy dinner of mutton paya, so I didn't feel like having breakfast until around 11 a.m.
The kids requested boiled chickpeas without ghee from Sootri Vat & Company, so we got three bags worth 50 each. Two bags were eaten by the kids, and the third one was later given a butter tempering by Malka Ni, which made it much more enjoyable.
You could say that around 3 p.m., I had both breakfast and lunch together. ✅
That reminded me of something: whenever a dish already has a rich ghee or butter tempering, plain roti without ghee tastes even better. It's delicious and also a budget-friendly way to enjoy a meal.
Who else likes tempered (tarka) dishes as much as I do? 💕
