In today's article, i would talk about how Manchester united star Luke Shaw was able to battle a career threatning injury to become one of the premier leagues best full back.

Luke Shaw aged 20, signed for Manchester United in 2014 from Southampton for a record fee of £31million. Tagged the most expensive teenager in the world and the most promising defensive prospect all eye's where on the Red- devils man to live up to the price tag.

However, in a champions league clash between Manchester United and PSV Edovin in which Manchester United suffered a defeat. Luke Shaw suffered a double leg fracture from a flying tackle by PSV defender Hector Moreno who did not even get a censure from the Italian official. Shaw then aged 20, received treatment from the medical team for more than 12 minutes. He also received oxygen and was taken off the pitch on a stretcher the youngster had to miss the rest of the season and also he was off for one full season.

After being recalled back to the national team squad in 2018, Luke Shaw admitted he almost lost a leg.
