A memorable football moment for me was when i watched Enugu Rangers win the Nigerian premier League.

Growing up my father would seat us down and tell us stories of how the flying antelope aka Enugu Rangers dominated the Nigerian professional league and how they won other teams from different shores of Africa. Sadly, i couldn't relate because ever since i was born the team has been performing badly.
For thirty-five good years they didn't win the league, but all this ended in 2016 when Enugu rangers got a chance to win the league. They where leading the table and needed a win at home to win the league, on that day there was a huge crowd all wearing the popular rangers jersey. We all sang and called upon the gods.
I cherish this memory because i could finally relate to the stories my dad had told me growing up. i was able to feel the joy he felt in his boyhood days and i would also be able to pass this stories to my children just like my dad had passed it on to me.
