Steemit- My Experience!
What a great place to meet others, no matter what your into! I have been telling EVERYONE I know!
I have found that my posts really do not get many views or engagement, and I blame that on myself! I was here worried about what others wanted from me instead of giving the people myself and letting it build momentum on it's own. Finding my flow on Steem in other words.
"Not what I think others want, but my own flow."
I am used to posting a video on youtube and having my subs watch my content immediately. I failed to notice that this is not youtube, and just as youtube , this platform will take time to find people that are into the same things that I am into.
I really approached steem in the wrong way. (MONEY) at first. Now, I notice that I enjoy reading and watching others more than worrying about my own content. I am a minnow, but as I find my flow, and meet other inspiring users here on Steemit, I am sure time will show me where I fit in, and I will settle in just fine.
Speaking of Minnows,,,,,I have this shirt on order! Without us minnows, who would the whales feed off of? LOL

I do track some @booster upvote runs and try to figure out, if this booster upvote really giving a value.

Im my session#1 I tracked amongs I tracked amongst other users the upvote boost of @livingwaters, he boosted his post value to $5.18 , which was $5.09 more than before the booster upvote !
And that with just an investment of $1.96 !

I too am a blogger and vlogger and am used to subscriber traffic. Steemit traffic seems to be more tangential, based upon an attraction to post titles or topics. As far as voting and voting power, Steem Power, Power ups and downs and all that, I really wish someone would publish a book titled Steemit for Dummies! Following.
LOL!!!! Thank YOU! I am trying to figure out "Current" why my upvotes for posts are not reflecting in a $ amount! Just showing my upvote, but no $. Then I go to a "Whales" post and upvote and his money shoots from $29 to $41! WOW! Not sure if I done that,,,,,or if it refreshed as I upvoted? If I did that,,,,,,then that is not right. Because other smaller posts that I liked did not really benefit from my upvote,,,,like the whale did. SO CONFUSED! Following back! ;)

Keep On Working Dear It Happens in beggining
When I stopped worrying about what my role on Steem was,,,I started reading others posts, and got a better feeling for the platform. I find that I enjoy more of the reading and learning than the posts. So, maybe less posting, and more meeting and connecting with others on here? Only time will tell. Either way,,,,this site is AWESOME!
it is good to read others post most of the people do not read others post and they wish that every read their post. how it is possible When you do not read others post who will read yours...
