Kindred Acres joins STEEMIT!

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read our first post on Steemit! We wanted to take a little time to introduce ourselves to the Steemit community.

Kaliah and I spent a few years traveling around to intentional communities in different states, learning what made them tick, learning from the various members who each held different talents, and enjoying life surrounded by some pretty cool down to Earth like minded people. We eventually decided to set roots in TX and start our own little intentional community there. We hand built a tiny house, yes, like the kind you see on HGTV except ours wasn't on wheels. We had 1.5 acres and just as our little community was taking off, the wind called us in a different direction....to be closer to our family. We had the opportunity to purchase a beautiful piece of land and turn it into our homestead and food forest.... so on the journey we go!

We are a small homestead located near Raleigh NC. Our beautiful homestead is made up of just under 3.5 acres of beautiful land we plan to turn into our food forest. We aspire to live in harmony with nature. We strive to be good stewards of the land. Our goal is to not just be sustainable but regenerative and inspire or teach others to do the same. Planting the seeds of change....

We have been here at Kindred Acres for just under 2 years now and we finally feel this is where we are meant to be. Our roots are dug deep now (our Gypsy days are still....although travel is a most definite). This property has transformed since the day we stepped foot on this soil....inch by inch, little by little, we transform, not just the land, but ourselves in the process.
