特に夕焼けが美しく見えることからその名前になっています。
昼間に撮りましたので夕焼けはありません…

It might be fun to walk while finding a cat sculpture.
地元の東京芸大大学院生の彫刻科の３名の協力で谷中銀座には７匹のネコ彫刻が配置されています。
写真は一番大きく一番目立つ２匹。その他屋根の上に２匹、通り沿いに３匹と合計７匹が居ます。
猫の彫刻を見つけながら歩くのも楽しいかもしれませんね。

Kinakomochi, I really loved your post. It was wonderful looking at all the picures. The staircase was impressive and looks like a wonderful sight. I loved all the stores and would love to shop there. 200 yen for croquette was unbelievable. Would love to taste it! I love, love, love the cat sculptures...they are adorable. Croquette is cheaper. The box lunch is 200 Yen. I have not seen much of this lunch box at this price.
Yanaka is known as a city with many cats. It is a very good atmosphere in downtown. Thank you!!!
