Summer festival 夏祭り
I participated in the local neighborhood association's summer festival.
This is water balloon fishing
地元町内会の夏祭りに参加してきました。
こちらは水風船釣り
My role is to bake yakitori.
It is already selling for yakitori sticks already on the skewers.
私の役割は焼き鳥を焼くことです。
すでに串に刺さってる焼き鳥用のが売ってるんですねえ。
Burn it.
ひたすら焼きます。
Once baked put on sauce ready
そしてタレにつけて出来上がり。

I usually have few opportunities to interact with neighbors
I think it would be nice to be able to interact with these events.
普段なかなかご近所の方とふれあい機会が少ないんですが
こういった催しでふれあえるのはありがたいなと思います。

Kinakomochi, your Summer Festival looked like it was great fun, especially for the children. They must have had fun with the water game. The food looked absolutely delicious. I can't get over how yummy the corn looked. The deep yellow color was so deep and amazing. And your yakitori made my mouth water! Every thing looked so good that I wish I could have been there! Thank-you so much for sharing this wonderful event with us!

A balloon of water attaches a hook to the end of a bundled paper and fishes. If the paper breaks, you can not get a water balloon.
Oh, ok! So it is similar to the game where you catch goldfish, except instead of goldfish it's water balloons?
YES, I think the image is close to goldfish scooping. If neither paper breaks, it is over.
