It is a picture taken when I went to Kanazawa station.
In 2011 Kanazawa station was chosen as the 14 most beautiful station of the world by the web version of American travel magazine "Travel & Leisure".

Behind the Kanazawa station is the "Tudumi mon" which imaged the drum used for traditional arts. It is popular as a new symbol of Kanazawa.
正面に構えるのは、伝統芸能に使われる鼓をイメージした「鼓門」。金沢の新しいシンボルとして親しまれています。
Motenashi dome
A dome that expresses "a heart of hospitality to present an umbrella to a person who got off the station". It uses 3,019 glasses, and it is creating bright squares on the gateway to Kanazawa, a place that can not be wet even by rain.
