You get to taste the exquisite flavours of locally grown chocolates and learn about the art of chocolate!

Some of my personal experience with Chocolate Concierge is when Ning, the founder of the company came to a breakfast club that I attended last year and shared his story and chocolate. Since then, I remember how the overall tasting session was like and how enjoyable that was! Especially I get to taste all the chocolate FOC :P So much of perks ya. To be honest, I never thought that local chocolate can be so flavorful (not like local liberica coffee which is relatively bland) and I kinda like it. Moreover, all of his chocolate is 50% to 75% Cocoa so it is not too bitter or too sweet that makes it too sticky to eat (like Cadbury). With that experience in mind, I have always wanted to host one session with him together and now I get to do it, virtually!

Join us this Monday night to taste Malaysian single origin chocolate, and meet the farmer and chocolate maker behind the bars... from the comfort of your home!

Did you know that Malaysia grows spectacular cocoa, both in volume and in quality? However, most of us donโ€™t get to taste the chocolate that is made from our own cocoa as beans are normally blended with other countriesโ€™ during the chocolate-making process.

However, we will be featuring only single origins in this virtual tasting that will be conducted blind. Taste 4-5 different chocolates from this harvest season, each with its unique back story!

We will also cover topics related to planting cocoa trees, varietals, agroforestry, fermentation and the process from tree to bar.
